Steve M. Boyle is the Executive Director of YIMBY Democrats for America, the Host & Producer of Radio Abundance, and the Founder & CEO of Epic Immersive and Immersive World Adventures.
With Epic Immersive, Steve has built 14-acre real-world fictional cities, bona fide secret societies, massive Silicon Valley parties, and epic adventures around the globe. Epic have been at the vanguard of a new evolution in storytelling: a living cinema where guests have agency in a fully-realized fictional world. Epic has been hailed as “legends of the immersive scene” by Meow Wolf’s founding CEO, “a leader in the immersive entertainment industry” by Disney’s VP of Live Entertainment, and “an immersive pioneer” by the creator of Sleep No More. Steve is the founding Executive Director of YIMBY Democrats for America, where he leads the organization in its mission to Build America, Defeat Fascism, and Unleash the Era of Progressive Abundance. As the host of Radio Abundance, Steve has interviewed leaders like Governor Wes Moore, Governor Jared Polis, Senator Brian Schatz, Congressman Robert Garcia, Congressman Josh Hard Harder, Congressman Scott Peters, Congresswoman Laura Friedman, Congressman Jake Auchincloss, Congressman Ro Khanna, Congressman Ritchie Torres, Member of Parliament Chris Curtis, author Marc Dunkelman, economist Daryl Fairweather, and many others. His sold-out debut event led The Wall Street Journal’s trend story on Abundance in the Democratic Party, where Steve was quoted alongside Ezra Klein and Members of Congress.
Steve grew up in San Jose, California, graduated from New York University, and is a survivor of the July 7 London Underground attacks by Al Qaeda,

Epic Immersive is a globe-trotting, pioneering experiential agence at the vanguard of immersive storytelling.
Under Steve’s leadership, Epic has created 14-acre real-world original fictional cities with World’s Fairs, historic buildings, and hundreds of actor-citizens; run a secret society of noir wonderlands and tunnels underneath San Francisco that guests entered by plunging through a slide in a fireplace behind a hidden door; designed secret experiences in the woods for venture capital firms; consulted for Netflix; developed virtual reality experiences with live actors for Google; thrown massive parties for Silicon Valley giants like Apple and Meta and Amazon; pioneered 360-films and live action role-playing board games for a major California foster care organization, hosted weeklong adventures where guests flew to Mexico to traverse an epic story of Shakespearean and mythological scale across destination Indian weddings and candlelit underwater rituals in the jungles and caverns and Mayan ruins of Mexico; and pursued diverse collaborations with everyone from indigenous artists in the Yucatán to survivors of the Japanese-American internment camps.
Epic has produced major gatherings for the entire immersive arts and entertainment industry with partners like AREA15 Las Vegas, bringing together for the first time guests like the Founders of Punchdrunk, Cirque du Soleil, and Meow Wolf with the creators of Disney’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, as well as leaders in the international experiential scene from China, India, France, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Brazil alongside XR pioneers from Niantic and Oculus and theatrical artists at the political frontier like the Belarus Free Theater.
Steve also founded the Underland Incubator in San Francisco, which focused on accelerating and curating experiential work by artists from underrepresented backgrounds. Every year since Epic Immersive was founded, more than half of Epic’s artists and speakers have always been women and more than half have always been creators of color. Steve leapt into politics to build the production team and aesthetics for YIMBYs for Harris' first fundraiser, featuring 70+ YIMBY speakers, which The Wall Street Journal dubbed "YIMBYchella" and hailed as "a breakthrough moment for the decade-old YIMBY movement." Next, Steve mobilized tens of thousands of phone-banking calls with events featuring Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Brian Schatz, Governor Wes Moore, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor Jared Polis, Congressman Robert Garcia, and Congressman Maxwell Frost, with coverage by The Washington Post, Politico, Axios, The Atlantic, Semafor, and The San Francisco Chronicle. Along the way, Steve raised $100,000 for the Kamala Harris campaign with his projects Immersive for Kamala and Adventurers for Harris, creating interactive Dungeons & Dragons games played by stars like Sean Astin of The Lord of the Rings.
Now, Steve leads YIMBY Democrats for America and hosts YIMBY Democrats for America's signature podcast, Radio Abundance, which premiered in 2025 with Maryland Governor Wes Moore and United States Congressman Jake Auchincloss. Steve is the creator of YIMBY Democrats for America’s FDR-inspired aesthetics of patriotic mythology, as well as YIMBY Democrats for America’s twin missions: Build America and Defeat Fascism.
